2002 GP GT passenger door hitting the fender

I have a 2002 GT and when a passenger opens and closes the door, the front of door towards the bottom hits the fender and makes a loud popping sound. How do i fix this? is it easy to fix HELP!!!!

2002 GT door making loud popping sound when I open the door

I have a 2002 GT and when a passenger opens and closes the door, the front of door towards the bottom hits the fender and makes a loud popping sound. How do i fix this? is it easy to fix HELP!!!!

As far as i know there should be alignment bolts on the inside of the door, you'll need to adjust them, i had to do this on my truck when i took the doors off.

It sounds like the fender and door are out of adjustment or the door hinge pins/bushings are whopped out. Try opening the door and see if there is up and down free-play when lifting up on the door. If there is free play, the door hinge bushings are shot. If not, then something knocked the door or fender out of alignment.
