95 4.3 hop ups?
I have an 82 el camino I am putting a 4.3 s-10 tbi engine in. We already are switching out the tbi system with a 4 barrel carb, and i want to know if there is anything else i can do for this engine to up the power i get out of it?

you do have some options here, it just depends on how far you want to go and what your budget is. in your application, you could make a good flowing custom exhaust. then you could add an open element air cleaner, underdrive pulley, and electric fan to free up some hp. then you could port and polish the heads, and add a different intake manifold and maybe a carb spacer. changing internal components is also an option. you could change pistons, rods, cam, and 1.6 rocker arms.

well we already have a new intake manifold and we just took off the heads and it was completely trashed with sludge(as if it never had an oil change in its life) the spark plugs were almost completely eroded, there was mold where the antifreeze should have been, and to top it off there was standing water in the piston heads. needless to say it is getting a complete overhaul and we are going to have it bored out and rebuilt. great suggestions thank you and more would be great too. also its a 93
