1998 & up ES300 Manual Transmission swap

Hey, i'm just curious if anyone knew of anyone who has put a manual transmission into a 1998 & up ES, or if it can even be done. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanx Much.

Re: 1998 & up ES300 Manual Transmission swap

Wow, this got about as much attention as I predicted. Has anyone ever accomplished installing a manual transmission in a 97-01 ES300? I love the style of the MCV20, but I refuse to go back to automatic transmission. I imagine everything should swap over from a V6 Camry with manual trans, and surely somewhere in the world they offered the MCV20 Windom with manual trans. Someone has to have done this before. Thanks for any info or links!

I guess I followed this rule:
"BE COURTEOUS: AVOID DUPLICATE POSTS"

and broke this one:
"POSTING IN CLOSED OR OUTDATED THREADS:"

Doesn't look like anyone has any information about my question anyways.

You are on a lonely quest to find a MT in a luxury car, particularly one whos performance is mediocre.
