Window out...

Ok I already posted about my car studdering when you start it but also the passenger side window will not go up or down. When you push the button either up or down nothing happens, no sounds or anything. The driver side window however goes up and down easy. Only thing is when the driver side goes down it squeaks and stuff. So I was wondering if the switch was shot or the motor was gone or what was wrong? Any comments?

Has it always done this since you got it or did it slowly but surely lead up to it not working?

Its probably the notorious burnt out window motors.

It has been this way since I bought the car. The driver side works fine and if you push the button for the passenger side on the driver side it makes a click when you let off the button but if you try to push the window button on the passenger side there is nothing at all.

huh. try open up your switches, see if it looks burn.. all it is is basically a metal connector thingy, really rare for the switch (passenger) to go out, the driver one ahs that.. auto-down relay thing tho. if its broken/burnt, you'll deff see it..

To test for the switch, pop the switch and bezel out and take a good gauge wire and jump the wires bypassing the switch. If it moves you have a bad switch. You can figure out which wires is for up and which is for down pretty easily. I just recently did this with my 97 Camaro, it ends up the switch was bad not the motor.
