Heater Core Installation 1994 Olds Bravada
Does anyone have instructions on how to install the heater core with AC in my 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada SUV?
If not, does anyone know how to remove what I think is called the blower motor mount plastic cover under the hood, which is next to and almost on top of the heater core tube thingys (sorry, I don't know what to call them)? I have the heater core removed from inside under the glove box, and have removed all screws, etc., that I can see from the blower motor mount cover, but it still won't budge. Thanks |

But the link you added is broken (the link to go to the other guys web page where you got this info). If there are more pics, I would like to see them. The only problem I am having is fitting the heater core back in its hole. It is a very tight fit, as you well know and I am afraid of breaking it when bending it to fit. Should it be that difficult to put it back in? or am I just being a little bit too "careful" so to speak? Thanks |

be very careful putting the new core in or youll risk breaking the solder joints on the pipes. just keep trying different angles and youll get it done

I re-soddered the already soddered portion of the tubes which had a very tiny bit of sodder already in place. I figured it could use some reinforcement to help prevent bending breakage on insertion and impact breakage in the future. I also grinded the hole a tiny bit to make insertion a little bit easier. Again, thank you so much for your help. |

glad you got it done and you saved over $800 instead of taking it to the dealer.
