new transmission

I have a 1996 Eddie bauer Exploer with 155,000 miles on it. The transmission recently junked out on me. How much should it cost to get a new transmission and get it installed?

You have 3 options. Ford new, Ford rebuildt and Independent rebuildt. From a low of about $2500 to about $5000. Shop around.
