The rear defrost doesn't work in my 03 Sunfire. The light doesn't come on the button when pushed but I hear a click. Fuses are good and wiring looks good at the rear window. Tried taking a voltage reading between the two connections at the window and had nothing. Don't seem to have any other electrical problems...yet! Anybody have an idea what I could try next before winter sets in? |

Re: 03 Sunfire Rear defrost don't work
With the power to the rear defroster on, check both connections to a ground in the car. One should show about 12V, the other should show about 0V. If both show 0V, then your supply is broken somewhere. If you get 12V and 0V, but it doesn't work, then you've got a bad ground, or all the window elements are broken.

Re: 03 Sunfire Rear defrost don't work
Thanks. It doesn't look like I have power, so I think I might try the switch next.
