I've got a '98 JGC with the 5.9. Just rescently my headlights came on and will not shut off...even when I turn off the ignition switch. The brights indicator is showing on the dash. No running lights though, just headlights. I can turn the parking lights on and off using the switch. I've tried pulling both the high beam and low beam relays out,..still on. I am having to pull the Fuse from the main fuse panel under the hood to shut them off. Any good thoughts? Any help would be great.
Oh yeah, let me add that it's a canadian model so it has daytime running lights. They illuminate @ 50% of standard low beam. They are on at all times with jeep running, except with E-Brake pulled. I'm really stumped on this one. ~Eric |

Re: Annoying Headlight problem '98 Grand
Could be the daytime running lights module.

Re: Annoying Headlight problem '98 Grand
Mine does that sometimes when I go to turn them off and I go too far (into auto) then all I do is turn them all the way on again then back off.
