Squeeky Windows?
I have power windows that are completely stock, but still work very well. The passenger side window has always squeeked when being rolled up. Now, the drivers side is doing it. I used to think nothing of it, but now that tow windows do it, I'm not sure what to do about it. Are the motors similar to brakes in which they squeek when they need to be replaced? Or do I simply need to take off the door panel the WD-40 the heck out of it?
Thanks |

Re: Squeeky Windows?
WD-40 will dissipate too quickly, some motor oil on the nylon band track should fix it. WD-40 is what you should use directly in the window track however as motor oil will probably end up getting the glass.

Re: Squeeky Windows?
Don't even use motor oil - use heavy grease (all purpose grease or axle bearing grease).
