18" on Accord but what offset?

gonna be buying rims here soon. i decided on 18". but what is the correct offset to get. the choices are : 18x7.5 offset+43 or 18x8 offset +45. i plan to lower the car about an inch and i don't want to have the tires rubbing on the fender.

WHAT YEAR IS THE ACCORD !!!!

you need to supply all of the vehicle info if you want a correct recommendation. As you know the Accord is very different for the original 1990 model to the current 2002 models

I would suggest an 18x7 wheel with an offset between 35mm and 45mm. You may want to go with the higher offset since you are going to lower the car in the future and the higher offset will be less likely to cause you problems with rubbing
