Lug Adapters?!?!

I have a 2003 cavalier with the standard five lug pattern. I want to get rims that are 4 lug. Are there adapters available that are safe to use, and also wont cost an arm and a leg?

Re: Lug Adapters?!?!

I've never heard of adapters like that. What you are trying to do would require replacing the front and rear hubs, and that would only work if GM makes the parts you would need. On top of all that, the hubs run around $150 - $200 each! I would see if the wheels you are looking at are available in 5 lug or find another set before I tried what you are proposing.

Re: Lug Adapters?!?!

thanks, I guess I'll just have to find another set of rims somewhere.

Re: Lug Adapters?!?!

yep, with 225/40-18 tires or 215/40-18 tires depending on the width of the rim.
