Manual transmission
Does anyone know if the manual transmission in the Mazda3 is the same as the one in the Ford Focus? I've read TSBs that address a problem shifting into fifth gear with the Focus.

This is an old topic, but for anyone else wondering about this, Im not sure if the Mazda3 and the Focus is the same, but from me driving my Mazda3 daily, I have never had one problem shifting into 5th gear. This is by far the easiest car to shift gears into. I also have a Suzuki Aerio and a S10 and those are harder to shift gears into. Hope this helps.
