Unhappy 2006 VS 2007 Mazda3...Question

I have a 07 Mazda3 and I am kinda dissapointed bout something.

On the 06's and prior years there is a blue light underneath part of the radio/heating controls area that shines down on the gear shift and the little space next to it. In my 07 its not there....or atleast not working.

Can someone tell me if they got rid of that little light on the 07's? I liked it, it lit up the gear shift area.....was kinda cool
