Welcome to the forum!
So what is the second problem? ![]() If only the passenger side window doesn't work, it won't be due to a fuse. This could be a faulty power window motor or a wiring issue. Is there any indication when you press either switch for the passenger window that it is trying to work? For instance, is there a sound when you press either of the buttons or do the lights momentarily dim when the button is pressed? How comfortable are you at reading wiring diagrams and using a multimeter or test light? We could post wiring diagrams, but that will only be worth our effort if you or someone you know will know what to do with them (not trying to offend you here). -Rod |

Also check it at both switches and make sure that the drivers switch is set to allow the passenger window to work...

Re: window will not budge in my 2002 taurus passenger side, could it be a fuse or motor?
I've had a couple of occassions where the driver's door window stuck in the down position.
The first time it happened, I completely disassembled the driver's door expecting to look at wiring and discovered that the motor was 'trying', but something was causing friction. Gave the window a little help with a screwdriver and it went on up. Happened again and I discovered that if I just held the button in the 'up' position while I slammed the door, it would un-jam without disassembling anything. I suppose I should adjust something to prevent the friction, to keep it from happening again, but it's only happened twice and that was years ago. Hope this helps you. |
