Theft System malibu 97
I have some problems with Theft System in my car malibu 97 V6. Everytime is more often this failure and I need to wait for 10 minutes or more in order to get the engine on after theft system light stops of blinking. I have read something about cutting a yellow wire on the set which goes to the connector to the ignition switch, but I do not know if this will help me. Could anybody help me on what to do, I do not want to spend more than $400 dollars with the dealer for a new switch if there is a posibility to do something bymyself.
I really appreciate in advance all your help.
Does the procedure to disable the theft system work on this model?
