Re: Lights on 4x4 panel stay lite ???

i have a 1999 jimmy my recent problem is the 4wd indicator switch stays on all the lights are on auto4wd 4wdlow 4wd high and the neutral light just like when it boots up but doesn't go out and will not let me switch to any. it is in 2wd though, the odd time it kicks in and i can hear the tccm turn on and everthing is fine and all components work fine. i am wondering if the module is fried or if the 4wd indicator switch is screwed one of the compasitors in the tccm is a little brown like it got hot

Check connections to the encoder motor or any other connection for that matter. This could be a few things. It could be the module too, its tough to say. I would first check any connections, amke sure everything is clean and tight and go from there.
