2003 BMW 745 Li Portable Telephone
I just dropped my Beemer's telephone into the lake while taking a boat ride.
I need to replace it, but I dont want to pay $850.00 or more for it. Any good ideas where I may be able to find a used one. I have looked at e-bay and other such sources but nothing came up. You may e-mail o me at "[email protected]". Thanks for your help.

first of all a "beemer" is the bike. A "bimmer" is the car. How long have you owned this?
In any event I believe you are stuck. BMW phone technology is very proprietary, meaning unless you pop for the $850.00, you ain't going to be able to use the Bimmer phone connection. Or at least that is my understanding. Good Luck!

I kind of agree with bmwgolfguy. Unless you can find someone who is selling theirs...in any case though, if you did spring the 850 green, at least you know it's new, that there will be a good chance there will be a warranty, and there won't be much wrong with it.

I also lost the orginal phone. I replaced it with a bluetooth device that allows me to connect the newer phones to it. I have had it for a year now with no problems.
