hid conversion triggers bulb out/electrical notice
hi group, i'd like to know if anyone has a done a hid conversion where there is a bulb out warning or some electrical issue when wired without a harness. i'm thinking of picking up this kit for the warranty, but they don't include resistors which i understand traditionally can help. i've heard some say it can be a matter of getting a wiring harness and not directly plugging in. but something tells me it's not a hid wiring harness issue -- or is it?

Re: hid conversion triggers bulb out/electrical notice
you really need an aftermarket wiring harness for the HIDs because they draw more power at startup than your average halogen bulbs, 85W for HID compared to 55-65W for halogen.
