Rear spoiler splitting on gta
My trans am which is like new 27k never been in rain has two splits one on each bend where spoiler comes from sides of window making bend along tailights. Right in the bend the split is up and down right where im assuming bolts on from underneath. Anyone got any ideas i was thinking shrinking but never ever n sun or extreme weather...DAVE

Re: Rear spoiler splitting on gta
Dry rot, it's a rubber compound. You can try to patch it up, but it's be back. Not really much you can do to moisturize it either.

Only real option is to replace it with one of the aftermarket fiberglass ones.
