1996 Rear wheel bearings
I need to replace the left side rear wheel bearings for my 1996 ford escort (uk model) an i really dont know where to start!Could someone please tell me how to do it? (and in idiots terms please!LOL!)Thanks and please help!

Hi Mark, and welcome to the forum. The Escort information here relates mostly to the North American Escorts, which are markedly different to our UK models in many ways (completely different engines for starters, both petrol and diesel), so I wouldn't even bet on it being the same procedure.
For the UK wheel bearing procedure, go to http://www.escortevolution.co.uk/forums/ - scroll down the page to the Mechanical section, and the first topic is a photo-guide showing how to do the job. It would be worth investing a few quid in a Haynes manual too. Have fun, and good luck.
