OK, it happened, now what do I do. Its a 1988 supra non-turbo 5-speed.
im thinking about buying a 1986.5
non-turbo automatic. This would be the new body.
Q 1: will i be able to fit the 5 speed in that body?
Q 2: what does it take to convert a 7mge to a 7mg"t"e?
PLEASE KNOW YOUR SH*T BEFOR YOU GIVE ME ADVISE, THANKS

Re: oops i wrecked, what now?

I would start by looking for a turbo model.

If you do the 7MGTE swap it is fairly straightforward (as far as engine swaps go). You will need to find one that comes with the wire harness, ECU, injectors, sensors, etc. You will need to reuse the motor mounts from your car. Both 5 speeds will fit. Be careful which one you get. The non turbo models came with the W58. The turbo model came with the R-154. Make sure you get the R-154 along with the correct transmission mount. You will have to splice the new harness into the old one. Be prepared to spend money and put in a lot of work.
