Re: AFS7 Group Build, gio's contribution ;)

Thanks a lot guys, you all are too good

Some jobs: I guess I'm near to finish my first model than.... holy crap! than the '01 Skyline conversion... more than two years ago....

Oki guys, let me show something:

Engine wired

Seatbelt's job done (I need to place some decals on "sausages" LOL)

I followed the advice (if I cand call it advice LOL ) of the buddy Andy and I done the rim's inside part and detailed the disc's inside:

brake cables still needing a way.....

I done something on the fuel rail, this time is solid, not PEtched, I done something that would look like injectors and a thin fuel line, hex fittings are 0.7 mm diam and handmade.

ciao!

Wow, nice build. Perhaps you should put 977 on the back.

Re: AFS7 Group Build, gio's contribution ;)

Thanks a lot Rob and Samurai: good idea LOL

I made me a sponge air filter, that would be helpful also for my next Skyline builds.

The result: max. diam. is 6mm, mesh is a PE aber stuff, hex. shaped:

and painted:

I also wired injectors and fuel line, still needs few color touch (fittings, may be fuel hose..)

Thanks a lot everyone for your reading.
ciao

Re: AFS7 Group Build, gio's contribution ;)

Damn Gio, I think I was under a rock again. This seems to happen every month or so. I must have missed the post you made on 7/6 about not finishing in time. I just thought your post kept going. But then again, I was under a rock.

You and your etching, what can be said?! WHat ever your mind can create, you seem to manufacture it. I would almost sell my Jeep or dog for that ability. Well, at least the dog, lol. I love the build and as always your custom etching and touches are the best. Now where is the little animated smiley face that bows down,.......................?

wait

Damnit

crap!

LOL I LOVE IT!!!

Re: AFS7 Group Build, gio's contribution ;)

Wow, Gio, you really are heading for the finish line! Great looking stuff all around. The inside rotor faces are terrific!! Whatever cycle fender you put on those wheels, leave the rotors visible! (Just put some wash on them! )

I like the Sabelt buckles- the length adjusters under the shoulder pads look spot on. Good idea on the air filter mesh, too- I may have to try that. Polish PE hex mesh, huh?
