Advice on headers for 81 vette
I would like to replace the headers on my 81 corvette. The headers would need a threaded hole for my oxygen sensor but no A.I.R. hookups. Anyone have any advice out there? Shorty headers would be best for fit probably.

Welcome Aboard!
The factory manifolds on the L81 are basically a variety of shorty header: ![]() The factory manifolds are 400-series stainless, so they'll last quite a long time. Aftermarket carbon steel headers may not provide the kind of service life you'd expect. Choose carefully.
