AWD 5-Speed Trans Needed: 91 Stealth TT

Hey all, I recently purchased a 91 Stealth TT (misbadged as an RT), from a gentleman in cali, with a bad transmission. At first I didn't think that I was going to have any trouble finding a transmission. Mistake: I then brought the car back to Missouri, and shortly thereafter found out there are no trans available in the area, good used, rebuilt, or new. Then, I had to move to a different apartment complex and found myself on a tight budget.

Getting down to the root of things, I need to know if ANYONE can find me an inexpensive AWD trans for a 91 Stealth.

Also I was told by the previous owner that "reverse had gone out and been shot through the casing". After some inspection, neither my friend at the local Chrysler dealership nor myself could find said hole. Is it possible that my transmission is rebuildable? its making a godaweful grinding noise, has no reverse (feel like rubber when u try to shift into it) and bounces out of first and second gears at random intervals. Is hard to shift into all gears. All forward gears are still functional however, and the car does drive...

First off, the car is an RT. Its not misbadged. Thats how they were all badged. Secondly, finding a used tranny in good shape can be hard to come by, and very expensive. Its a getrag.
