I have about 1000 dollars to spend on my 95 Neon 5 speed SOHC and i was wondering what would be the best way to spend my money.

Re: 95 Neon Performance Mods?
save up some money and buy a SRT engine
lol, idk.. cant really expect much from a neon in terms of power.. if i were you i'd go down the road of handling.. neons are light, rigid.. handles goodstrut bars. coil overs, tower braces, bigger tires/rims, etc. not much to be done in terms of power unless you wanna rip into it/get a new engine/get a turbo/spray nos.. i pretty much have never even tried to get my SOHC to come even close to my other car (in sig)... its my dd and i like the neon just how it is. light, agile, and not too bad on gas!

http://www.roachracing.net/ Granted it took more than $1000 to get there, but they do have alot of potential.
