Does anyone know how to and where to find the paint code.I have a 1992 sierra stepside.Thanks for any help. Tom

Look for a tag in the glove box, paint codes are 2 digit usually at the bottom of the tag.

According to my GM Production Options handbook, a 4 digit number on last line of Option Label in glove box


Example of what you might find:

Paint Type / Paint Code (this will not be on tag)

DIS LAC WA 8240 (rest of codes on line pertain to interior trim)

I found the following nubers WA-L9260 at the bottom,do these sound like paint numbers. I thank you both for the replies also.
