What Rear end is in a '66 Galaxie 500
It's been a really long time since I've posted on here, just been real busy, but I do have a question. Does anyone know what rear end came factory in a '66 500 4 door? If it helps, it has a 352 in it. Thanks guys.

Re: What Rear end is in a '66 Galaxie 500
Thanks man. That's what I figured but just wanted to make sure. I gotta car that for the most part is in EXCELLENT condition and some ppl call me crazy for not goin factory with everything, but I just wanna do somethin that has a lil more power. The 352 just wasn't built for torque, of course, once you think about it, neither was the Galaxie in general ha.

Re: What Rear end is in a '66 Galaxie 500
Some 352 blocks were no sloutch, I had a 63 Galaxie in 1963 with 352 cu. in. 2bbl carb and 3 spd std tranny and it would take a lot of cars off the line. It was slow getting to the top end but I also buried the speedometer needle one time down into the generator light on a straight piece of highway. That would sure scare me today.
