Putting Aftermarket Stereo in 99 bravada
Trying to put a pioneer deck, RF amp and subs in my new bravada.
Went to wal mart And the scosche brand harness thats SUPPOSED to be for it (gmd1 or somethin) is NOT the correct one. Anyways, I plan on orderin one from crutchfield. Where did everyone else run thier amp cable from the battery through the firewall? Ive looked and I cant see any decent grommets to run it through. |

Some places offer free installation if you buy their stuff. I think Circuit City and CarTronics are a coupla places.

Re: Putting Aftermarket Stereo in 99 bravada
I have found from my personal experience with blazers and most other GM products that its most convienient to buy an assortment of differnt size gromets from a local auto parts store and drill a hole through the firewall below and to the left of the brake booster(if looking from under the hood). I personally use several reference points, both under the dash and under the hood to locate a place that will be free of wires and such. Let me know if i can offer any more assistance.
