cincinatti area members....

I'm going to be in Cincinatti this weekend all day Saturday and half the day Sunday. I was wondering if there are any AF members in the area that might wanna hook up and show me some love on Saturday night. I heard there is some pretty good racing down there....

Hit me up. I will be in my GTP so any of you high-14 / low-15 second cars want a shot at the title let me know...

Re: cincinatti area members....

^^^^ Bad day for you yesterday? If so that makes 2 of us... I swiped the wrong card at the pump Sunday night ACCIDENTLY and didnt realize it till yersterday and it was 2 late. $93 and 3 overdrafts later I am out the full set of tires for my car. I was only able to buy 2 until next payday.

I can only blame myself though because I smoked my dinner that night...

Anyway when I'm having a bad day or just a tough time I say to myself, "It only gets better and I will be on top in the end". This is what does it for me.

Re: cincinatti area members....

great outlook for a bad day. When I'm having tough moments I play video games or go bowling with my buddy brandon on the weekend.

BTW jeep you should come to miami, I'd love to run the GTP in both the RX-8 and Jetta, plus I would show you some nice hang outs where cops dont bother cause they cant.

Re: cincinatti area members....

Oh, I havent forgotten about the Miami AF Crew. I go to Ft. Myers Beach every November except last Nov. when we went to Tybee Island, Ga instead, but I missed Florida after only 2-3 days in Ga. Nothing like the Gulf Coast for some fun in the sun. All though I rarely hit the beach till the sun is going down. To bright for me.

By time I get to Florida I will be runniong on a 3.4 set-up so I should be in the low14's possibly high 13's but I will be happy running low 14's. So hopefully I can come home with at least a 1-1 record against your rides.

On a side, side note. How is Musashi's wife and baby gettin along. I hope everything is well...

November? Why do you have to make me wait so long? Not to mention I'm not gonna be able to tune the 2 cars before you get down here. ft.myers I love it there, I have family there and go there maybe 1 every 2 months or so. Not to mention we are now competing in their autocrosses over there

Re: cincinatti area members....

You guys are lucky to live in Fl. I'd be willing to bet I will be a Floridian in the not -so-near future...5-10 years would be good enough...

Tuned or not you can just show me the ropes . I'm sure the Miami scene is way more happening than Columbus...Its all about the fun, but we would have to have something to tell these guys . Win or loose you have the better car in the RX-8 by far. Way superior to a GTP.... except for looks....

Anyone have any experiance with the Falken tires?

Thanks man, but in 5-10 years no one will be able to afford living here, it's too expensive, people are leaving here faster than they left cuba. And as for the looks thing, hey to each his own, though I do like the body styling on that gen grandprix my dad has one a 97 GT which I'm hoping to take off his hands soon so It can be my beater.

Re: cincinatti area members....

I was just kidding I actually like that RX-8 alot. Just dont get to see many and thats a good thing. I used to want a 300M when they came out in 05 but after everyone and their brother got one I lost the love.

I wonder how much dif. my car will run in South Florida?

it would probably run worse with all the heat and humidity contributing to your heat soak
