Exclamation looking to buy another honda

im looking at a 94 civic with a vtec 1.6 hatchback. the seller told me that the car uses about 1/2 quart of oil between filling up the tank. i am assuming that the car burns the oil not a leak. about how much work would this be and how expensive. i have worked on a honda before but never on internal engine parts.. thanks oh yeh the car has 116,000 miles on it.. i hope you guys can help me make up my mind whether to buy on not opcorn:

Re: looking to buy another honda

Could be alot of things. Bad rings, valve seals, could even be a small problem with the head gasket. Good luck.
