Radio Issue

Hey,

I've had an issue with my factory deck. Let me explain my setup first.

I installed a aftermarket radio and relocated the factory deck to the trunk so I could retain the chime and setting functions. I bought the harness to do this online and installed it without an issue and it worked fine for a while but then I noticed the chime started working so I checked the factory deck and it wasn't working at all.

I checked the power lines and it has power, I even pulled the dash apart and connected the radio there and nothing. The deck simply doesn't do anything, no power, no red light blinking, nothing. The aftermarket radio works fine.

Now when I put the chime speaker in I forgot to cover the contacts so it may have hit the chassis of the car but I'm not sure about this. I'm just wondering if I missed something.
