You are note going to find many at all and probly wont find any here. 1st gear in the ATX is brutal. I am almost ready to shift to thrid by the time the ATX is getting to the top of 1st. I'll post the example again, BrettRT on 3si had, downpipe, test pipe, shift kit, a high stall converter and some other mods on his 1g RT and still only ran a 16.04..... I ran faster STOCK in my SOHC 5 speed.

Yeah your telling me that 1st gear is so damn long i can take out a pack, light up a cigarette inhale blow it out the window and still watch it shift to second at the end of all that lol, but i was thinking getting some good cams then putting in a 75 shot, but i think i could only spray the nitrous in beggining of second gear at low rpm's to not mess up my tranny any thoughts...?

The cheapest bang for the buck in performance for the n/a 3/s ATX is a MTX swap. The ATX doesn't do bad from a roll but from a stop it takes a little time to get rolling with it's large first gear.
