Re: 2000 accord check engine light.

hmmm. if p1486 isn't a code it's funny how it showed up on my invoice... im looking at it right now and it says exactly this...

A check engine light was on, is off now, EGR??
Went to another shop (autozone) they told him it was EGR?? ADVIE
SR94 Troubleshoot and diagnose

they charged me 69 bucks for that....

Re: 2000 accord check engine light.

Autozone really read the code for u? I tried calling them to see if they would perform a test for me and they say no. Maybe I should drive there and bug them? I paid 120 bucks for the code reading at some dumb gas station...... they gave me a code that wasnt in my mechanic book... but they said it was O2 Sensor problem.... replaced 2 and the light is still on... I want to find out a place where they can check the code for me for free x.x

Re: 2000 accord check engine light.

This thread is almost three years old.

Make your own thread, post the code and I am sure somebody will respond.

Good luck,

Sam
