Post your liberty pics here
I'am thinking of getting a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport Patriot Blue with Rock rails, roof rack cross rails, t-hood cover, BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires (for a start), and was wondering if you guys could post some pics of your libertys, not just the exterior, and the interior etc. (and they can be any model not just sports) thanks.

check out http://jelle.rockcrawler.com for pix of my Liby. It's pretty much what I've got for now. And when you get yours let me know and we'll have to get together for some off road adventures!

Real KJ...Real Jeep
http://www.geocities.com/landsharksoffroad/KJ
This is an on-going project. I have limited pictures on the site now, but some more are going to be added very soon. The pic on the page I'm linking to is right after I finished lifting it. Ya, it's dirty, but looks WAY better after getting cleaned up. I have some action shots at Moab, Rubicon, and Disney (NE Oklahoma)...but again, it will be around the 1st of the year before I get back to working on any site. There are more people starting to make aftermarket items for KJ's, so just be patient. But you sound like you have the right items in mind! Rockyroad makes the best rockrails for the KJ and Skyjacker makes real lifts (Do it right, Don't use stupid poly spacers!) so you can get some rubber under the KJ. Stay tuned to the site as I'll put everything I encounter with the KJ up there as I meet them. I only have one piece of advice...treat it like a Jeep and not a grocery getter, and you have my utmost respect What I have on it: Skyjacker 2.5" lift (Anymore and you need a solid axle up front) Goodyear MT/R (245/75-R16...or 31's) Mickey Thompson 16x8 (watch your backspacing! 5 x 4.5") Rockyroad Rockrails Rockyroad Skidplates ARB Locker (rear only) Poison Spyder rock-ring (http://www.spydercustoms.com/ - rear only) Powertank Ramsey Patriot 8000 Winch Alpine/JL system It wheels great! I'm just waiting for something to break to do anymore...If it makes it to next fall, I'm going for the solid axle swap (dana 44's front and back) and some 35's. http://www.geocities.com/landsharksoffroad/index |

Re: Post your liberty pics here
Nice ride!
Since my post I've put on Goodyear AT/S 245-75s. They rub at lock but not too badly. I would've gone with MT/Rs but I spend a little too much time on road and figured the noise would've gotten to me! The AT/Ss were a good compromise - and so much better than the crap stock tires it's not even funny! A bunch of KJ owners here in Toronto, ON, Canada met up this past weekend... everything from bone-stock & dirty, to some cool mods/projects! One fellow had very sweet - and simple - control arm disconnects. Another fellow has a great ARB front bumper... ooooh that was nice. Personally, I'm looking at a 2" lift, tranny plate and Top5 safari racks for now. Eventually I'll look into the ARB bumper as well and better wheels (rather like yours actually). Happy wheeling!

Re: Post your liberty pics here
Thanks! As I'm looking around the internet today, I notice ALOT of people looking to play with KJ's. I think I'll get that site done quicker than I imagined. I'd just love for everyone out there to understand that the KJ is a really, really good Jeep and try and help them do what they want to do with it. I'll check back here as time passes. There's a couple sites out there now, but seem to not give the facts/specs/why's//how-to's of anything they speak of. Later dudes and dudettes!
