98 navigator susp/pump
hello again guys, ??? here, is it possible that if the suspension pump relay is acting up it will cause the pump to come on very often???? so far i find no leak in the system but the darn pump just keep coming on every three to four blocks driving. one more thing each time the pump comes on i only see the right front fender pops up. one mechanic stated that the right front shock is leaking. please help me here guys before i convert over to the spring kit, i dont realy wants to do that. thanks

Re: 98 navigator susp/pump
Very bad idea to allow that Air Compressor to overwork...
If there's a leak, and it sure sounds like it, the compressor will DIE trying to keep up with it. You wont be able to hear a slow leak, only soap bubbles will show them. Check the bladder and valves yourself if you don't believe (trust) your mechanic. Turn off the compressor or you'll kill it.
