Re: impala keeps quititng

The codes you have refer to the secondary air injection system. You live in a green state (NY) so your car has extra emissions pieces that most states don't require. The A.I.R. pump is located in the left front fender area just forward of the wheel well, and is prone to water intrusion. The water corrodes up the internals of the pump and it locks up. The codes you have are common for this problem. Replacing the pump is the solution, as they are a sealed unit and cannot be repaired. The AC-Delco part number is 215-414 (GM #12568241). There is a GM service bulletin (04-06-04-037) that addresses this issue. It suggests fabricating a shield to help deflect the water that comes from the wheel well away from the A.I.R pump.
