Question Please Help

I have a 1995 gt and i recently installed a vortech s trim supercharger kit. This is the first time i have had a supercharger on one of my stangs. Everything works great, i love it there is no problems with its performance, the problem is with the sound. I know how a supercharger sounds, i know that there is a high pitched wine to them but mine also has another noise at idle. The noise is not easy to discribe but its like i can hear the gears. It made this noise since the secind i started it the first time and has not gotten worse. Is this normal or should i be on the phone with vortec? Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.
