accord door ajar

Hi everyone,
I got a 91 Accord, and the driver side door been replaced. Now the driver door open light is on! I can't get it to shut. I checked the switch, and it doesn't read ground as supposed. The automatic seat belt doesn't retract when I close the door, because it thinks the door is still open. And the buzzer keeps beeping all the time the car is on. It's very annoying. I hope somebody can tell me where is the control unit for this thing, maybe I'll put a new wire or just short it and keep it reading as shut all the time. Any ideas?

If you defeat the switch, the seat belt will always be in the way...
