Both models look extremely good and very cleanly built.I'm looking forward to seeing some more progress pictures.

Welcome to AF and congrats. These builds look awesome. Can you tell what problems you had with cowl of that LEyton House? Was it bad fitment or paint problems?

Re: 2 formula one almost done

I had problems with clear coat, I tried to dilute it a little bit and it cracked the paint.

you can check by yourself...

Re: 2 formula one almost done

That's unfortunate. What kind of clear did you use - brand and paint type?

That's a real shame about the clear coat problems you have experienced on the Leyton House cowl.It looked perfectly painted as well.I hope you can fix it?

Re: 2 formula one almost done

Bummer about the paint. You should get some CF decals and cut the cowling down the middle and decal the underside of the good half. Then you can just have a sneakpeak model so no one has to touch it

Best of luck with the Leyton House but the Jordan is still looking great!

Re: 2 formula one almost done

I have already done a new cowling !!! I finished it last weekend and I am waiting some days to cure clear coat so I can polish it.

Probably next weekend it will be finished.

2 of my favorite F1 cars! 2 that I have also built. The headers on the Leyton House look fantastic!
