Hello,
I bought aftermarket Euro lights(http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...=1184379132267) for my '95 Sunfire last night and am now having trouble with my Daytime Running Lights. I now have the DRL light flashing in the cluster eventhough no lights are turned on. When I turn on the headlights the lights come on but the DRL light continues to flash in the cluster. Is there a way to fix this easily? I have read many online articles that suggest cutting the DRL wire or grounding it to a solid metal ground, but am a little tentative about doing this as I do not want to ruin the headlights or short something out. The other thing that the majority suggest is to simply pull out the fuse, but this sounds like it may come with some side effects. Has anyone here done this with their car? How did you remedy the situation? Any help will be appreciated. |

Re: Installed new aftermarket headlight bulbs, Lost DRLs
pull the fuse, but then the service light comes on.....that or like ken said, just splice the wire to a ground nearby. as long as it doesnt go to something that is charged, it shouldnt short anything out.
