Saltwater Burns, new alternative fuel?

John Kanzius discovered that his radio frequency generator could release the oxygen and hydrogen from saltwater and create an incredibly intense flame.

New energy source?
Another bad science pipe dream?
Does this radio frequency generator need more energy than the salt water could produce?

If this thing does have a future will Exxon make sure it never sees the light of day?

Better make sure all the metals/alloys are rust proof and don't corrode.

I've been hearing some boating guys talking about their fiberglass gas tanks being eaten away by ethanol. Apparently it's pretty corrosive too.

Re: Saltwater Burns, new alternative fuel?

its real easy to split water (h2o) into it's componets, hydrogen and oxygen and then cause a huge flame when you ignite the hydrogen in the presence of oxygen and recombine them. i can do it on a smaller scale by putting copper wires into opposite ends of a potatoe and placing the wires into a saline solution. the real problem is storage and delivery, thats where entropy enters into the equation.
