exhaust smell

I have a 01 silverado ext cab. Recently I have noticed a exhaust smell in the cab of the truck or on my clothes when I get out of the truck. I had a flowmaster with the tailpipe tucked at the back of the truck so it is hidden. Could this be the problem? or what should I look for? I am not sure where to start.
