93' Regal 3800 MAF sensor issue
Hello everybody im new to the scene here, but i've read alot of posts. Here's my issue one day i went to start my car it was really hard to start and to keep running, if i let off the gas it would die. So I replaced the plugs, fuel filter, checked the fuel pressure, and did a compression test to no avail. After reading a ton of posts i came across one that said it could be the MAF sensor, it said to disconnect it and if the car ran that could be the problem. So i tried that and it worked kinda. The car wont idle very well and sometimes on real humid days not at all. My question is does it sound logical that this is the problem or is it just covering up something else because i never got a service engine light or code to help me determine the cause. also could it be a vacuum leak instead of a faulty MAF. Thanks in advance.
