Location of Blower motor Relay

I have a 1994 delta 88 royale and when I connect the blower line it goes non stop, without the car on. Since it cant be the fuse it could only either be a stuck switch on the instrument panel or I hope a bad relay. I can't find where the blower motor relay is located though. I checked the firewall where all the other relays are and its not there. Anyone know?

Any luck with your a/c blower motor?

I was just reading your post about the stuck a/c blower fan. My gf`s dad is having the same problem on his 1989 Olds 88. He replaced the blower fan and now the fan blows on high, even with the ignition off/key out, etc.

Have you had any luck getting yours fixed?

Re: Location of Blower motor Relay

Well I just went to the olds / buick dealer and talked to there mechanic. HE said that the relay is in the duct work of in the inside. He said that relay gets so hot that it was installed inside the duct work to keep it cool. So in regards you would have to tear the dash out. There is a easy fix though, get a really heavy duty gauge toggle switch and I think (consult someone else also) cut the positive on the plug wires on the male end. then run the toggle switch into your car somehow (firewall, hole) and mount it. When you activate the toggle the positive line should be completed turning it on. I asked about a variable switch and he said dont do it, it will burn the fan motor out.
