99 hoe i did the fuel pump now hard starting?
got 99 tahoe 5.7 4x4 did the fule pump about 4 months ago starts great in the moring if it sits for about 45 min or so it woint kick over on the 1 try the 2nt time it will start?

Is the fuel pump an aftermarket pump made by Airtex or Carter?The aftermarket pumps are junk.Check the fuel pressure and GMs will not start with very low fuel pressure.The next fuel pump,go with an AC Delco pump from the dealer and they are a lot better than the aftermarkets.
