89 Accord SEi squeaking...

I have an 89 accord se-i, automatic, 4 door, it squeaks under the car when I turn the wheel either way for some reason, its not the belt slipping, it sounds like its coming from by the tires, it has new shocks, if im parked and i continously turn the wheel back and fourth it will stop eventually, but then will start again after a little while. I think it might be the sway bar bushings but I wanted to get some other opinions first...
Thanks

Re: 89 Accord SEi squeaking...

I'd just start spraying the WD-40 on bushings until it stopped...start with stabilizer bushings like you said, then steering rack to body mounts, strut isolators, subframe mounts, etc, until you find it..

If it started after getting new struts, I'd suspect the isolators/spring lands might be the problem...seems a lot of the older ones will have a broken coil spring or two up front, usually the bottom coil collapses, can make some strange sounds...

...empty gun rack.
