Installed used engine
I just installed a used engine into my 96 sunfire, and all it will do is just turn over and won't start. I changed the crank sensor from my old engine to the one I installed, because the plug that connected to it was different. Will this cause the engine not to start. Thanks for any advice. Also does the module have to be grounded to the engine for it to work.

Re: Installed used engine
The CPS from the old engine probably isn't compatable with the new one especially since the plug was different. The ignition module must be grounded in order to get the proper spark. Otherwise check all connections, fuel pressure, make sure the fuel pump is working. Just keep trying everything. But I suspect the problem may be with the CPS.
