A HD clutch will push hard.
Does it have a outside slay cylinder with a adjustment on ot.
How much free play in clutch pedal?
Have you tried to bleed the clutch system?

Re: 93 2500 clutch ajustment ?

Bleed first.
Push down pedal and open the bleeder on slay cylinder a couple of times.
The gravity bleed. Fill clutch cylinder full and ope bleeder and let it drain threw some.

You are welcome and thanks for posting back how it went.
Give it some tender loving care and it may run forever.
And always feed it Good AC Delco plugs and parts
Good luck
