HELP 1998 5.9L Cooling Fan Motor DEAD!!

Hello, I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L. about a week ago i smelled a weird smell coming from under my hood. I lifted the hood to find smoke coming out of my cooling fan motor. The smoke continued for about 2 minutes then stopped. I took the fan and motor out to find it completely fried. I have been looking for a replacement motor for it since then. No shop seems to have it or anything I could use as replacement. I was wondering if anyone knows if i can buy a generic motor or one from a different car that has the same engine or an aftermarket motor that will fit. I would like one that dosent bolt on the the radiator. the plugg has three wires by the way. Any ideas would be appreciated. I was thinking about a belt driven fan as a last resort , Thanks
