Accord Type R vtec Pressure Switch Problem
Hi Guys,
I need to pick your brains, I'm trying to lower my vtec cut in (only a few hundred rpm) to help gearchanges as unless they're spot on it can drop out of vtec. Anyway I have a piggyback ECU and a vtec controller but the OEM ECU sees a signal on the vtec pressure switch at 5100rpm when it's not expecting it until 5800rpm. It throws a vtec pressure switch fault code that puts the car into limp mode and vtec will not activate and a 5500rpm rev limiter comes in. Does anyone know the signals the pressure switch works on and can I completely disconnect it or do I have to tie it high or low voltage? Many thanks for your help.
